Training of Sign Language Interpreters in Full Swing
The Sign Language Interpreters` Association of Korea is conducting well the work of training reserve sign language interpreters.
In close cooperation with Pyongyang Teachers Training College and other universities and colleges, it has found out talented persons and organized sign language workshops and shooting practices for them.
It has enlisted talented persons with hearing impairment, who hope to work as sign language interpreters, in the production of multimedia and thus opened up a prospect for making more videos of diverse themes to meet the increasing demand for the multimedia in sign language.
