Korean Cooperation Office for the Disabled and Orphans

A mission from the China Disabled Persons Federation (CDPF) visited the KFPD Central Committee at the latter’s invitation from May 12 to 16, Juche 103 (2014).

The visit was made as a part of regular exchange according to the MOU adopted between the KFPD Central Committee and the CDPF in February Juche 99 (2010).

The delegation presented a gift to Comrade Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Korean people. It had an in-depth discussion with the authorities of the KFPD Central Committee for further strengthening exchange and cooperation in different areas of physical rehabilitation and made an agreement on training functional rehabilitation experts in Pyongyang for the present.

During their stay, the members of the delegation visited President Kim Il Sung’s birthplace at Mangyongdae, the Arch of Triumph, the Tower of Juche Idea, Munsu Rehabilitation Clinic and other places in Pyongyang and had a pleasant time climbing Mt. Kumgang.

The visit served as a good opportunity in developing cooperation and exchange between the two organizations on to a higher stage.
