His Dream Realized
There is a young man who had to go frequently to the hospital. He was diagnosed as congenital strephenopodia. He is Pak Kum Jin and 26 years old.
With unusual aptitude for table tennis, he has been trained by the table tennis coach of the Korean Sports Association of the Disabled since 2017.
Pak made his international debut as a table tennis player in the Third Asian Paralympics held in Indonesia in October 2018.
Nobody knows how many times his parents shed tears worrying about his grim future. His manner of walking gave himself a great inconvenience and others fear. This was why he could not go out of his village and never imagine that he would be a table tennis pro.
To do his favourite sports event to his heart`s content as others do—this was yesterday`s dream of him. But his today`s dream is to win gold medals in international competitions to add glory to his motherland.
