For Convenience of the Disabled
The Central Committee of the Korean Federation for the Protection of Persons with Disabilities has paid attention to cooperation with design units in the capital city of Pyongyang and organs and enterprises concerned with the affairs of the disabled persons in order to ensure that public buildings and facilities are built in consideration of physical features and convenience of persons with disabilities.
As a result, exclusive passages, seats and toilets for the disabled have been provided not only in the newly-rebuilt welfare service amenities and transport facilities but in the enterprises and workshops where many disabled persons work.
