Active Development of the Association
The members of the Blind Association of Korea and the Deaf Association of Korea have worked out a detailed action plan for this year and turned out to achieve substantial successes in their work.
The Blind Association of Korea is making careful preparations to attain a higher goal with a determination to solve the problems arising in work and life of persons with visual impairment by studying the percentage of their school attendance and employment this year, taking relevant measures and compiling various kinds of books of braille versions.
The Deaf Association of Korea has set it as an important task to perfect the automatic translation program of sign language on a higher level this year and develop and disseminate educational support programs badly needed for the education of persons with hearing impairment. Now it is working according to the phased plan for its implementation.
