“Fatherly Marshal, I Am the Happiest in the World!”

Last year many children and students in the flood-stricken local areas spent a happy life for 130 days at the April 25 Hostel and the base for military parade training in the capital city of Pyongyang.

Among them was Mun Wi Gyong from a mountainous village in Jagang Province.

She had lost her one hand in an accident in her childhood, so it was most painful for her to meet up with people.

When the garment researchers in Pyongyang went round the rooms to make children try on summer uniforms to make sure they fit, she wept in silence alone behind the pillar of a corridor. She could not wear a short-sleeved summer uniform because she felt ashamed of one artificial hand before her friends.

Several days later, she was told that a long-sleeved uniform was made especially for her thanks to the loving care of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un. She shed tears of gratitude to him.

Busy as he was with many state affairs, Kim Jong Un also ensured that she received medical treatment at the Korea General Red Cross Hospital.

Filled with a new hope, she shouted, looking up to the sky over the building of the Party Central Committee: Fatherly Marshal! I am the happiest in the world.
