Benefits of Law on Provision of Rights of Persons with Disabilities
The Ninth Session of the 14th Supreme People`s Assembly of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea adopted the Law of the DPRK on the Provision of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities on September 27, 2023.
The law stipulates important matters for fully guaranteeing the socio-political, economic and cultural rights of persons with disabilities and ensuring that they perform their responsibilities and roles as masters of the state and society.
For the past one year since its adoption, the persons with disabilities have enjoyed the benefits of the benevolent socialist system of the country which looks after them like a mother who cares more for her sick and wounded children.

Under its warm care, the persons with disabilities are making a tangible contribution to the sacred struggle to open up a new era of building a prosperous power, while enjoying a happy life as genuine masters of the state and society.
