School-opening Ceremony Held at Korean Rehabilitation Centre for Children with Disabilities
A school-opening ceremony took place at the Korean Rehabilitation Centre for Children with Disabilities on April 1.
Present there were Jon Chol Hi, chairman of the Central Committee of the Korean Federation for the Protection of the Disabled, officials concerned and children, nurses, teachers and medical workers of the rehabilitation centre and parents of children with disabilities.
At the ceremony, Song Hyang Chun, director of the rehabilitation centre, made an address to be followed by speeches.
The speakers said that the children with disabilities would enjoy a brighter and more cheerful life under the care of the benevolent socialist system, expressing the resolve to fulfil their responsibility and duty in upholding the policy of the Workers` Party of Korea for protecting the disabled.
Then the participants looked round various places of the rehabilitation centre.
