Dream of a Table-Tennis Player
In the DPRK, where human beings are regarded as the most precious in the world, people with disabilities live filled with delight and optimism and bring their talents into full bloom as others do.
A typical example is Kim Hak Yong, a disabled table-tennis player.
It is not so long since he, in his early twenties, started playing table tennis.
It is not so easy for him, with both forearms cut, to play table tennis.
But, encouraged by the kindred affection for him of officials and coaches of the Korean Sports Association of the Disabled, he can put his heart and soul into training.
He says his dream is to become a famous table-tennis player.
