With Patriotic Mind

The members of the Korea Art Association of the Disabled gave a performance “We Love Our Country” on the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Dance Overcoming Physical Disabilities stole the limelight of the audience.

It depicts a disabled girl player who makes persevering efforts in spite of her physical disabilities to win an international competition, thus finally hoisting the national flag in the sky over the world.

It makes the audience think over the meaning of the word patriotism.

In particular, persons with disabilities said, whenever they enjoyed the dance, they got encouraged and were filled with self-confidence that they could join the rank of patriots if they made strenuous efforts for the country.

It was the unanimously opinion that physical disabilities would not affect one`s mind to devote oneself for the good of the country.
