Young Pianist

In the performance of the amateur art group of the Korea Art Association of Persons with Disabilities held in Sariwon, North Hwanghae Province, from July 29 to August 9, a 12-year-old pianist with locomotive impairment won standing ovations from the audiences.

She was Jon Pu Yon, a junior-middle-course student at the piano faculty in Pyongyang Kim Won Gyun University of Music and Dance. During her performance she skillfully portrayed her optimistic life she was leading under the care of the socialist education system.
