But what is more important is to keep our feet firmly planted on our land and design and build the airport as a structure with our features to meet the ideological feelings and national sentiment of our people.

   Thanks to the wise leadership of him who paid close attention to ensuring that the Juche character and national identity was fully embodied even in a structure, the terminal of Pyongyang International Airport was built as a monumental structure representing the soul and spirit of the Korean nation and the might of Juche Korea.
