(1) Establishment of the Korea National Heritage Protection Fund

  The Korea National Heritage Protection Fund was established on June 28, Juche 107 (2018).

  It is a non-profit corporate body which is empowered to accept contributions from home and abroad and operates independently with its own bank account and structure.

  The Fund’s supreme decision-making body is the Board of Directors which consists of representatives of various institutions and organs and major contributors who take an active part in the conservation of national heritage.

  Its legal address is Taedongmun-dong, Central District, Pyongyang, DPR Korea.

  (2) Logo of the Fund

 The logo consists of Pyongyang Bell, circular colourful patterned band, two laurel branches and there is an inscription of the name of the Fund both in Korean and English.

  ① The Pyongyang Bell symbolizes national heritage.

  ② A white tiger and a blue dragon which are portrayed on top of the bell symbolize the Fund’s mission to protect national heritage.

  ③ The circular colourful patterned band symbolizes the eternity of the Tangun nation’s culture.

  ④ The two laurel branches symbolize the bright future of the work of protecting cultural heritage of our nation and the exchanges and cooperation with people of the world.
