From the view of physiological aspects, the people in middle age have the different features from children and youth, old persons in metabolism. The children and youth should receive many nutritive substances from the outside and most of them are used for the growth and development except for the physiological consumption. So most of absorbed nutriments are used in the body.
But for the old persons, most of them are discharged out of body.

For the persons in middle age, the absorbed nutriments are used only for the physiological consumption, not for the growth and development and the compositional components of the organs are not dissolved and so the absorbed and discharged amounts are in the balance. To do this, it’s necessary to pay attention to the following points.
First of all, when feeling satisfied, never have more meal.
Such feeling can be seen to be a sign that the amount of dishes corresponding to the physiological need has been in the stomach.
Some people often eat too much in case of the delicious food.
Such phenomenon presents itself at suppers or on the holidays.
In particular, the energetic persons often eat and drink too much with their guests or in the banquets. Then the stomach and the intestines are overwerghed, resulting on the gastritis, stomach ulcer, gastric hemorrhage or obesity. So in all cases, don’t eat too much and stop eating as soon as your stomach feels satisfied.
Next, we should observe the meal time.
Some persons in middle age often don’t have meal on time because they are very busy.
Then, they sometimes have meal for a short time while feeling difficult in breathing. Even some persons don’t have lunch and they eat much food for two meals at supper. The continnation of such phenomenon may cause the stomach trouble. Our ancestors wrote as follows: “When feeling hungry, have meal and when feeling thirsty, drink water and don’t eat too much.”
This recommends us not to bear hunger, not to eat too much and to eat a proper amount of food on time.
And they should not fast too long and have likes or dislikes in food.
Some persons in middle age sometimes fast too long and have likes or dislikes in food while feeling worried of obesity and of cardiovascular disease according to the inerease in the level of cholesterol.
As a result, they have lack of some nnutriments such as vitamin, mineral matter and protein. This gives the negative effect on their health. So the persons in middle age should use the scientific method in preventing obesity and cardiovascular disease and in maintnrning the heathy beauty.
