It is a 500-year-old tree, clean and good-looking, which grows in Yongang-ri of Kaesong Municipality.

   The 18m-high tree is 4m at the root neck, 5.5m round at the chest height and 21m across at the crown.

   It ramifies into four large branches at the height of two metres with their girths of about 1.8 metres respectively. They spread out more twigs to form an umbelliform crown.

   As the oldest Bunges Pine in the DPRK, it is on the list of natural monuments for its great academic and scenic significance.
