Sol Islets, which boast beautiful scenery and mysterious shape, are located in the sea off Pochon-ri, Myongchon County, North Hamgyong Province.

   They are a scenic spot in Sea Chilbo of Mt Chilbo, which is famous as “Mt Kumgang of North Hamgyong Province”.

   The islets are not far away from land. Originally, it was one rocky islet, which was gradually divided into two.

   On its mid-slope is a cave called Ryong (Dragon).

   Pine, oak and maples trees grow thick on the islets.

   The islets are of academic significance and add more beauty to the surrounding scenery.
