This 400-odd-year-old pine grows in the city of Hamhung in South Hamgyong Province. It is a mysteriously-shaped tree rare to be found around the world. It was designated as a natural monument for its botanical significance. It grows healthily in harmony with the surrounding scenery of old historical relics.
