An evergreen needle-leaf tall tree grows in the compound of Wonsan University of Agriculture in the DPRK.

The present-day tree was transplanted around 1890 when it was 30 years old. It is over 19 metres tall, 2.2 metres round at the root neck, 1.9 metres round at the chest height and 6.4 metres wide at the crown.

As a big and old pine, it is a natural monument of academic and landscaping significance.
