David Elm at Kimhwa
A David elm, which has grown for over 500 years, stands
on the bank of Kumsong Stream about 1km away from township of Kimhwa County,
Kangwon Province. It is 21 metres tall, 5.7 metres round at the root
neck, and 5.2 metres round at the chest. It is a natural
monument of academic significance, which adds beauty to the landscape.
