A Talented Poet

Most recently, a DPRK literature prize was awarded to the lyric work I Extend My Smile written by Ri Kuk Chol, a member of the art group of the Korean Art Association of the Disabled.  

A man with locomotive disabilities, he has written many poems such as An Ordinary Citizen and The Mind of Mother.

As it reflected with skilled artistic presentation the life of the disabled artistes who enjoy a happy life under the care of the motherly Workers` Party of Korea and bring pleasure to the people, his lyric aroused the admiration of many experts and readers.
