Ordinary Disabled Couple’s Desire Comes True

Many persons with disabilities in the DPRK enjoy a happy life, bringing their artistic talents into full bloom under the warm care of the Workers` Party of Korea.

Among them are Ri Kang Ryong and An Ryu Song, a couple with visual impairment, who are members of the Korea Art Association of Persons with Disabilities. As a popular soloist and instrumentalist, they have won a standing ovation from the audience whenever they gave performances.

Gifted with distinctive timbres and rich musical faculties, they wanted to become popular soloists. Their desire came true under the benevolent socialist system. Today they are engaged in performing activities to their heart’s content, enjoying a happy and worthwhile life as a member of society.

Most recently, the motherly Workers’ Party of Korea provided them with a flat like a palace in the modern Hwasong area and took all measures for them to live without any worries.
