Celebration Events for 80th Founding Anniversary of WPK

A meeting in celebration of the 80th founding anniversary of the glorious WPK took place with splendour in the DPRK’s capital city of Pyongyang on October 9. The meeting was held amid the revolutionary mettle and soaring enthusiasm of all the participants to support with single-minded loyalty the ideas and leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un, the supreme representative of the great WPK, the state and the people, and the outstanding leader of the Juche revolution, and achieve the final victory of the revolutionary cause of Juche which was pioneered in Paektu.

Grand mass gymnastics and artistic performance “Long Live the Workers’ Party of Korea” was given in celebration of the 80th founding anniversary of the glorious WPK in May Day Stadium on the evening of October 9. The refined mass gymnastics and artistic performance—a dazzling combination of beautiful and elegant dance, vocal and instrumental music, and acrobatics and stunts performed in the crisscrossing illuminations and against the ever-changing backdrop—received tumultuous ovations from the audience.

A military parade for celebrating the 80th founding anniversary of the WPK was staged in Kim Il Sung Square on October 10. The military parade was a grand political and military festival which demonstrated before the world that immortal dignity and prestige of the great DPRK, the heroic life and future of the great Korean people and the fame and invincibility of the great Korean People’s Army are ascribable to the Workers’ Party of Korea, the great Kim Jong Un’s Party.
